We were so happy to be back in Lohfelden! Some Young Americans had been there just a few years earlier and we were so excited to start another workshop! This was our first town with our new director Tina Reynolds and we had an amazing time. At the end of the show on the third the kids surprised us by singing “You’ve Got a Friend” by Carole King. It meant so much to all of us and it was a really special moment with all of the kids. We always do the first act of the show as a gift to the kids and in this town they did the same for us. It is something that we will never forget.

You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I’ll come runnin’ to see you again
oh ya baby,Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I’ll be there
You’ve got a friend

As I read these post about your workshops it only reinforces for me how special this group is. I am proud to say that my daughter is a member of this group. Not only has she been given the opportunity to do what she loves everyday(sing and dance). But she gets to meet amazing kids and grow as a person. Thank you Milt for creating the Young American organization.
