The Young Americans Tohoku Project was initiated in June 2011 in order to restore joy and peace to the people who were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. With the support and cooperation from many companies, individuals, the Japanese government, US Embassy, and the municipal board of education, The Young Americans have been able to continue this annual project during the fall. It continues to provide courage and hope to the people of Tohoku.
