We just did a workshop in my hometown of Slidell, Louisiana, and I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better hometown experience. The best part about this workshop was that a majority of the kids participating were underclassmen when I was a senior and I knew many of them from theatre and track/cross country. Everyone was so into the workshop, they gave it their all and I think everyone had a really good time.
People had always told me that doing a workshop in your hometown as a Young American was like two worlds colliding, and they couldn’t have been more accurate in that description.
