Hosting The Young Americans
This page is designed specifically for the teacher considering hosting a Music Outreach Tour Workshop in their school. A detailed information packet on how to prepare for The Young Americans’ arrival to your school, materials that can be used to promote the workshop in your area, as well as a directory of teachers who have already hosted The Young Americans┬« and are willing to offer advice and support for first time teachers, can be found below.
Host School Responsibilities:
  • Circulate registration information to interested students | 200 – 300 students are desired for a successful program.
  • Procure all facilities – a gymnasium, two large teaching rooms and two classrooms
  • House and feed The Young Americans┬« during the workshop in the homes of participating students
  • Act as host during the three days of the workshop
  • Help promote the concert
