Europe Music Outreach Tour
In 2001, The International Music Outreach Tour made its debut in Europe. That first year we visited 13 schools and 1,950 students. Today we are now touring to continental Europe 6 months throughout the year conducting 40 workshops for over 10,000 students.

BEFORE YAs: I planned on playing football at Colorado University.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: I played football, was vice president of student council, and was involved with drama.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I’ve always wanted to travel, perform, and work with new people, Young Americans is the perfect thing to do so.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan on moving to Japan and teaching English.

WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I joined because I wanted to give kids the same gift that I received when I took a YA workshop.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan on going to school and studying musical theater, later on becoming a teacher and a great mom.

BEFORE YAs: Go to 4 year college and get a degree. Probably major in business.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: I was on the dance team at my high school.
JOINED THE YAs: I wasn’t ready to stop singing and dancing and going to a 4 year college meant not singing and dancing. Instead I wanted to see where Young Americans could take me.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I will look for performing jobs. I will definitely go to college sometime in the next 4 years though.

BEFORE YAs: The original plan was to go to University of Colorado Boulder and study Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences… not that I had any clue where that would take me, but because I had no idea what I actually wanted to do!
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Choir and the soccer team, both school team and club team.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I was drawn in by the way the Young Americans made me feel as a kid in the workshop; I loved their unexplainable and incomparable passion for the arts, for teaching, and for life. (Of course the traveling experience was the cherry on top!)
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan to go to university (location undecided) and finish up my Associates and continue on to Bachelors degree in Child Development or Social Services. I am interested in teaching high school or maybe a juvenile detention center.

WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I joined so that I could give children all around the world the same joy that The Young Americans gave me when they came to my school.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I want to keep traveling and seeing as many places and meeting as many people as I can in my life. Of course I want to keep performing, and someday I would love to open up a children’s theatre!

BEFORE YAs: My Plans before YA was that I was going to train as a mental health nurse and join the military in the air force along with in rehabilitation with adolescents in prisons, rehabs and homes.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: My extra curriculars were a swimmer and a student counselor.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I joined Young Americans I got work with people from all different backgrounds, travel the world combined with being able to perform.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I still plan to train as a mental health nurse and join the military, also rehabs and prisons but i want to expand this and hopefully travel with this job.
