HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: I was on a few sports teams, as well as being a part of my Dance Company in high school.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: When I took a workshop for the first time, I saw how the YoungAmericans performed, and how connected they were, and really wanted to be a part of that.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: Go back to school for a little while, get my degree, and I want to travel to Australia.

NEW KID YEAR: 2010
BEFORE YAs: The original plan was to go to University of Colorado Boulder and study Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences… not that I had any clue where that would take me, but because I had no idea what I actually wanted to do!
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Choir and the soccer team, both school team and club team.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I was drawn in by the way the Young Americans made me feel as a kid in the workshop; I loved their unexplainable and incomparable passion for the arts, for teaching, and for life. (Of course the traveling experience was the cherry on top!)
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan to go to university (location undecided) and finish up my Associates and continue on to Bachelors degree in Child Development or Social Services. I am interested in teaching high school or maybe a juvenile detention center.
