Europe Music Outreach Tour
In 2001, The International Music Outreach Tour made its debut in the U.K. and Europe. That first year we visited 13 schools and 1,950 students. Today we are now touring the U.K. and Europe 9 months throughout the year conducting 60 workshops for over 15,000 students.

BEFORE YAs: I planned on finishing my degree in criminal justice and becoming a police detective.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: I played football, wrote for the yearbook, and was very active in choir.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I have always wanted to help out and make a difference, the YAs gave me the opportunity to do just that on an incredible scale.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan on finishing my degree and returning to my hometown to help support dwindling arts programs.

BEFORE YAs: I was going to go to UCLA, and study Musical Theater.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Dance, Track & Field, Soccer, Drama, Choir, ASB.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: Because of the energy and passion I saw when they performed.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: Still attend UCLA, and eventually try to get jobs on the great white way or the movies.

WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I want to give other kids and people around the world the same joy, hope, and self confidence that the YA’s gave me when I was a town kid.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I would like to work as a performer. My all time dream is to work at Disney World!

BEFORE YAs: I was supposed to attend a Cal State University and figure out my life from there. I didn’t really have a specific direction.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: I was a show choir kid and coached soccer teams on the side.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: Grayden Smith told me to audition, so I did without knowing anything about the Young Americans. Literally, I thought they only had a Christmas Show.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan to go to school and finish a degree in the Music field, but behind the scenes in either Agency or Music Communications.

BEFORE YAs: My plan before i met the YA’s was to go to the Marines and after to then go to college to be a Choreographer.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Basketball and Drama.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: What made me join the YAs was the fact that there able to dance and sing together no matter what level they are and to have fun is what got me.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan to open up my own dance studio for kids and to host the YA’s to do workshops with the kids.

BEFORE YAs: My plans after high school before I met the YA’s were to attend Julliard in New York and major in music.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Choir, drama, dance, cheerleading, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: Ever since I did a YA workshop in my hometown, that was when I knew I wanted to join Young Americans. I wanted to be able to make an impact on children through music and make a difference.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I plan to hopefully pursue my career in music whether it being a recording artist, Broadway star, or a choir teacher.

BEFORE YAs: My plan was either to go into television and film studies OR be a dentist.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Gymnastics and dancing were my main hobbies but then I also played on sports teams such as hockey, soccer and gaelic (an irish football sport).
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: The YAs came to my school 3 times while I was there and I took every workshop. They brought the exact something I was looking for into my life and I just couldn’t deny it. They captured me from the start with what they did so I just had to try out.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I still would be interested in production, possibly music videos.

BEFORE YAs: I was going to go to UNH for sports medicine with a minor on dance.

WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I joined the young Americans because it seemed like the right thing to do, not just for myself but to help the kids too. It’s an incredible experience to pass up and such an honor to get accepted.

BEFORE YAs: I planned on going to a state school to major in Spanish or communications.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: High School: Choir, barbershop quartet, Student Senate, class Vice President, volleyball, softball, hockey, dance team and solar Olympics. College: volleyball and student ambassadors.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: There was a huge void in my life that regular college wasn’t filling. My love of singing, people, music, and seeing the world made finally going to the Young Americans a clear choice.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: As of now I plan to finish my Associates degree and then hopefully study abroad.

BEFORE YAs: I had no idea where I was headed after high school, I worked at a Pet Store but knew I should be somewhere else…
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: I was a performing arts student as well as playing football (soccer).
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I had never considered becoming a YA ad amazing as it would be, but a Young American in their first year at the time insisted I auditioned!!
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: After Young Americans I want to use the knowledge and skills I have gained to live life to the full!!

BEFORE YAs: I would have gone to Columbia in Chicago for music.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Choir, baseball, and swimming were my three main high school activities. I went snowboarding a lot during the winter but my school didn’t have a ski team. If we had one I definitely would have joined.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I wanted to see the world and this group offered exactly that. Plus I get to share my love for music and inspire children everywhere. It was just perfect.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I want to start writing and recording my own music and maybe one day you’ll be listening to me on the radio.

BEFORE YAs: My plans were to attend Western Michigan University majoring in Dance and a possible minor in law.
HIGH SCHOOL EXTRA CURRICULARS: Choir, Varsity Dance, Madrigals, Athletes Committed to Excellence (ACE), and Peer Leaders.
WHY I JOINED THE YAs: I took 2 workshops as a town kid and fell in love. I grew up learning the arts from former Young Americans and I aspired to be just like them. Plus its the only place where I can do EVERYTHING that I love; sing, dance, work with kids, teach, perform, and travel.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I’m hoping to get a job in the business, performing somewhere fingers crossed! If all else fails I might want to teach or go back to law school.

WHY I JOINED THE YAs: My sister was a Young American and I saw a few Christmas shows. The Young Americans was a sense of family while still being able to perform after high school.
MY PLANS AFTER YAs: I want to continue traveling, so I plan on becoming a flight attendant.
