Creative Camp

Come join us for a one-week camp featuring the world-renowned performing arts company The Young Americans. This camp will be directed and produced by The Young Americans’ Artistic Director Bill Brawley, Resident Choreographer Robyn Brawley, and a cast of 40 young, talented performers who have just returned from a three-month European Tour. The purpose of this camp is to explore artistry of all kinds, focusing on creative, visual and performing arts.

The camp will cover all styles of vocals - everything from classical to doo-wop - to different genres of dance - hip hop, jazz, tap and lyrical - and audition techniques for television, Broadway, and dance videos.

Through various forms of art including painting, poetry, song writing, choreography, singing, dance, and more, this camp will guide you through self-expression, teamwork skills, and self-improvement. This is a camp NOT TO MISS. 

Broadway Camp
July 19-24, 2010

Join the international performing arts company The Young Americans, as we pay tribute to the “great white way” BROADWAY. This camp will be directed and produced by The Young Americans’ Artistic Director Bill Brawley, Resident Choreographer Robyn Brawley. At the camp is a cast of 40 young, talented performers who have just returned from a three-month European Tour. This one-week camp will focus on song and dance using music of all styles, from blues to jazz, swing to pop, classical to rock and roll. The camp will feature selections from award-winning musicals of the last century.

The week will include learning songs and dances taught by more than 40 fantastic teachers from all over the world, and will focus on gaining new skills, improving old talents and meeting new friends from all over, all while singing and dancing to some of your favorite tunes. 4th and 5th Grades Performing Arts Day Camp

Creative Camp
July 14-17, 2010, 10AM - 5PM each day

Have your child experience the world of performing arts through a fun relaxed day camp this summer! During each day of the Creative Day Camp, the students will learn their portion of a 2 ACT SHOW that is
performed on Saturday for all your friends, family, and community. Along side their show material, we will have the students explore fun and exciting ways to be creative. The world of performing arts will
explored through things like : drawing or painting with music... learning different songs within different genres of music... and most of all being able to feel confident in trying new things. The Camp will be taught by THE YOUNG AMERICANS cast that is returning from their recent tour to Germany teaching thousands of students.

Broadway Camp
July 21-24, 2010, 10AM - 5PM each day

Tuition Price: $185 (if registering online)
Tuition price includes: lunch each day, supervision, program materials, any field trips, recreational activities, and a camp t-shirt.

There’s nothing like Broadway! Talk about the perfect camp to get on your way to being a triple threat. Students will be encouraged most of all to be themselves and make mistakes. They will be able to experience different musicals and styles while learning their very own 2-act show to perform at the end of the week for all of your family, friends, and community.

GO TO BOTH CAMPS – This is an awesome option to expose your child to all aspects of the performing arts. The combination of both camps will give them the best introductory to learning about themselves, being creative, and choosing to GO FOR IT!

That’s right! This summer we will be offering the unique opportunity for parents and teachers to be a
part of the kind of workshop that their kids have loved for years and to even get the chance to sing
and dance alongside them in the finale show!

Join us as we put on our “performing caps” on and examine how best to support our students today
in the fine arts and their academic futures by encouraging self confidence, awareness of others, and
goal setting.
